Memorial Day Flowers

Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 31st this year. It is often considered a three-day weekend from work and school as well as the unofficial kickoff for summer. However, it also means so much more as we look at the origins of this special day. Memorial Day is a time to remember all of those who have served our country, putting their lives on the line to protect our freedoms. This includes those from all military service organizations as well as those who have fought in all the various wars, conflicts, and battles throughout our history as a country. Although last year saw the cancellation of parades and in-person events for Memorial Day here in San Diego, we remain positive that many events will return this year. There will also be opportunities to have grave-side services and put flowers on graves once again as well as to hold smaller events that celebrate those in military. After all, May is also Military Appreciation Month, so it's a good idea to celebrate both. Our San Diego flower shop and website are here to help you make Memorial Day special no matter what type of remembrance celebration you have planned. Our San Diego florist location and website offer a wide range of patriotic flowers, including arrangements, bouquets, wreaths, and sprays. We can also make you a custom Memorial Day floral design to fit your event or gift. With a talented team of floral designers as well as a dedicated event staff, we can help you create something memorable and respectful. This includes everything from flowers for a Memorial Day parade, picnic, graveside service, or local event. We have many patriotic floral designs you can draw inspiration from to help our floral designers come up [...]
