This year, Hanukkah is December 10--December 18th. Known as the Festival of Lights in Judaism. There are many traditions that are celebrated during this special holiday. These special traditions include lighting the menorah, a nine-branched light holder that is lit each night until all the eight days of the Hanukkah festival are celebrated. Another tradition involves some delicious foods, including fried foods like potato pancakes known as latkes and jelly donuts. Then, there is playing dreidel, a game that commemorates Jewish heritage.
