San Diego’s Favorite Florist Celebrates Mother’s Week
Located in downtown San Diego, El Cajon, and La Mesa, our San Diego flower shops are dedicating the entire week leading up to Mother’s Day to Mom.
After all, Mom does so much for us that she deserves more than just a celebration on Sunday, May 10th. Starting May 4th, we’re going to give you many ways to amplify Mom’s joy over the coming week through our Mother’s Day collection. Here are some ways to treat Mom every day this week.
Monday: Do Mom’s Chores
Take care of the weekly chores for Mom. This might be the laundry, dishes, or housecleaning. Pick one or more things from Mom’s always-long list and take care of it for her. Even if you can’t get it all done in a day, tell her you’ve got it all covered and will get it done.
Tuesday: Make Her a Card
Right now may not be the best time to pick up a greeting card. That’s okay because you can make one with supplies at home even if you design it on your computer and print it out. It’s more about the message, so be sure to tell Mom how much she’s appreciated.
Wednesday: Send a Gift Package
We’ve put together some thoughtful Mother’s Day gift packages to treat Mom. These include a bouquet of flowers along with other special treats like a bottle of wine or champagne, chocolates, and even a keepsake mug. She’s sure to be delighted at such a generous gift.
Thursday: Bake Her a Treat
Thanks to YouTube tutorials and online recipes — not to mention, grocery delivery — you can whip something yummy up for Mom. Maybe she likes cookies or a cake. This is the time to get creative in the kitchen and surprise her with that special Mother’s Day treat.
Friday: Deliver Flowers or a Plant
Our San Diego flower fields are in full bloom along with those of our other international flower partners. Now’s the time to select a fresh bouquet of Mom’s favorite flowers. Is it tulips? Roses? Hydrangea? We’ve got those and more. You can order in bulk or have them arranged with one of our many container choices.
If she is more of a green thumb, we also have green and blooming plants to enjoy in her San Diego garden or patio.
Saturday: Have a Zoom Party
If everyone can’t be together for Mother’s Day, set up a time to schedule a conference call on Zoom or another service to socialize. Many families have enjoyed playing trivia or other game this way. Even if you just catch up, Mom will be happy to see everyone.
Sunday: Celebrate Mother’s Day
On Mother’s Day, give Mom some time to relax by serving her breakfast in bed or setting up a picnic lunch in the backyard. Make sure the menu is all about her, and don’t forget to clean up!
