San Diego’s Florist Adds Talented Floral Designer For Weddings & Events

Now, we’ve added another member to the team, and we’d like to introduce her to all of you. Tayler Montgomery joins Allen’s Flowers as our new Wedding Coordinator for our Wedding & Events services.

Tayler has devoted her entire career to flowers, starting out at 17 in a flower shop in Dana Point, California.

She was attracted to the florist industry because of her love of design, the enjoyment of working with her hands, the smell of flowers, and the interaction with people who came into the flower shop to buy flowers for someone they love. 

Her next job introduced her to wedding design, working alongside another talented floral designer.

In this role, Tayler learned about space design, wedding planning, and consulting. After a few months working in this role, friends and family started asking for her assistance with their weddings and events.

In 2012, Tayler moved to San Diego where she continued to grow her love affair with flowers by working with many flower shops.

During this time, Tayler developed her own clientele list and got to work alongside other talented vendors. This gave her the opportunity to be creative and bold with her floral design decisions.

She also expanded her design interests into other niches, including interior design, community design, and garden design. Beyond just wedding floral design, Tayler refers to herself as a space designer.

She is drawn to every element in a space, seeing and creating an overall aesthetic that has helped create some memorable weddings.

When asked about joining Allen’s Flowers, she exclaimed, “Working in a space like Allen’s Flowers, where the weddings are limitless, is a great opportunity for me to focus on the scalability of my talent. Wedding’s by Allen’s will be designing trend setting weddings.”
